There has never been a one-size-fits-all type of teaching. Nor a one-size-fits-all way of learning.

At Twice Exceptional Cafe, we envision neurodiversity as an important foundational curriculum in schools that supports a social-emotional component to understanding ourselves and others around us.  It is crucial to develop a “driver’s manual” for each student's unique brain to navigate through school. And it's hands on and FUN! Create an environment of understanding and compassion for all neurodiversity and ways of being our authentic selves.

TEC's lesson plans and videos teach students to identify their learning styles, what strategies work best for them to learn, and know the areas in life where they will shine. In addition, students are taught how to advocate for their needs and feel like others will better understand them. These lessons are for EVERYONE. Create a positive neurodiversity-affirming environment in your school that will benefit everyone.
